Patricia has been riding horses since she was a young child with a diverse background from Saddle Seat on the Saddle Bred circuit, 4-H, hunters, the QH circuit both English and western, intercollegiate equestrian teams western and hunter, and even worked with race horses.
Patricia started in Dressage in 1997 when she acquired the Prix St. George Arabian stallion Havlin. Patricia and Havlin went on to earn her USDF bronze and Silver Medals, not to mention half of her gold Medal as well. The pair continued together to Grand Prix as he was the first horse she trained to GP however due to Havlin’s age and arthritis Patricia chose to retire him from active competition.
Patricia earned her Bronze, Silver and half of her gold medal by 2001 and had already trained her first horse to Grand Prix. Many wonderful horses were to follow and Patricia earned her Gold Medal in October 2003. In 2002 she received sponsorship and was given numerous imported horses to train, show and sell in the US. She has trained multiple horses to the Grand Prix level and even has trained her own home-bred horse to the FEI level. Patricia was self taught through Grand Prix but went on to ride with some of the best trainers in the world. She has ridden with Conrad Schumacher, Nicole Uphoff, Fred Weggelaar, Nicole Sammis, Patrick Burssens, Robert Dover, Cezar Para, Kyra Kyrkland, Hilda Gurney, and others.
She has had great success on the Arabian circuit wining multiple national Championships though the levels even becoming the National Arabian Dressage trainer of the year.
